Spill Control Products, Built to Spec
Absorbent booms, absorbent socks, absorbent pillows, and spill kits & refills made from recycled polypropylene and checked by lot for dimensions, fill weight and absorbency.
Absorbent Booms
Sheen capture, waterfront, fuel transfer, terminals and responder caches, our absorbent booms float fully saturated in oil-only formats, with rope, rings and clips at both ends so you can connect boom to boom with a 12" deployed overlap. Available in 5"×10' (4/bale) in oil-only, universal and hazmat, 8"×10' (4/bale) in oil-only and universal, and 8"×20' (2/bale) in oil-only. Absorbs up to 9 gallons per boom (36 gallons per bale) at 5", and up to 15 gallons per boom (60 gallons per bale) at 8", shipping 25 bales to a skid as standard (100 booms).
Absorbent Socks
Built for machine leaks and drains, our absorbent socks conform around equipment and pipework for a tight seal, with an exact 3"×4' fit for standard spill kit BOMs in universal, oil-only, hazmat, water sock and flat sock variants. Extended lengths run 3'×8', 3'×12' and 3'×20' oil-only for longer reach. Each sock absorbs up to 1.5 gallons (about 45 gallons per 30-count box), and ships 30 to a box, 20 to 25 boxes per skid.
Absorbent Pillows
Form-stable under equipment, our absorbent pillows handle sumps, drips and hard-to-reach areas in 18"×18", 9"×18" and 10"×10" sizes, in universal, oil-only and hazmat formats, plus a net-bag option for easy retrieval. Each pillow absorbs 1 to 2 gallons depending on size, and ships 1 to 40 per case.
Spill Kits & Refills
Full spill clean-up in one audit-ready package, our spill kits contain, absorb and dispose of oil, fuel and coolant spills from vehicles, machinery and loading areas, with refills available for every format. Choose a vehicle kit (about 8 lb) for on-the-go response, a 20-gallon kit (about 25 lb) or a 55-gallon kit (about 50 lb), both container included. Oil-only and universal absorbent pads (100 per bale, 15"×18") and custom boom lengths priced per linear foot are also available.
Spill Kit & Spill Control Product Questions
Common questions about absorbent booms, absorbent socks and spill kits, answered.
What is a spill kit, and what's included?
A spill kit is an all-in-one response package for containing, absorbing and disposing of a spill on the spot. Our spill kits are built around an absorbent sock or pad core, plus PPE, disposal bags and a container, sized for vehicles, 20-gallon and 55-gallon formats, with refills available for every size.
What sizes do absorbent booms come in?
Absorbent booms are available in 5-inch by 10-foot and 8-inch by 10-foot lengths (4 per bale), and 8-inch by 20-foot lengths (2 per bale). A single 5-inch absorbent boom absorbs up to 9 gallons; an 8-inch absorbent boom absorbs up to 15 gallons.
What's the standard size for absorbent socks, and what are oil absorbent socks used for?
Absorbent socks typically come in a 3-inch by 4-foot size to fit standard spill kits. Oil absorbent socks are the oil-only version, built to soak up machine leaks and drips without absorbing water, making them ideal for equipment leaks, drains and vehicle kits.
What's the difference between an absorbent boom and a containment boom?
The terms are often used interchangeably. A containment boom, or absorbent boom, floats on the surface of a spill to stop it from spreading while absorbing oil or fuel at the same time. Containment booms connect end-to-end with rope, rings and clips for longer spill containment lines along a shoreline, drain or parking area.
Are "spill socks" and "spill booms" the same as absorbent socks and booms?
Yes. Spill socks and spill booms are just other common names for absorbent socks and absorbent booms. Whichever name you use, they're placed around or across a spill to absorb liquid and stop it from spreading further.
What is spill control, and how is it different from spill containment?
Spill control is the broader term: it covers prevention, containment, absorption, cleanup and disposal all together. Spill containment is just one piece of it, physically stopping a spill from spreading. Spill control products, like spill kits, absorbent booms and socks, and disposal supplies, work together so a spill is caught, contained and cleaned up in one response.
What does "spill stop" performance mean?
Spill stop performance means a product does what it's built to do the moment it touches a spill: fast, full absorbency with no leaching, so the spill stops spreading immediately instead of needing a second pass.
How do I choose the right spill products for my site?
Start with what you manage day to day: absorbent socks and pillows for drips and small leaks, absorbent booms for larger spills or waterfront work, and a full spill kit for vehicles or incident response caches. Most sites end up stocking a mix of spill products across categories rather than relying on just one.
Are your products made from recycled materials, and is there a minimum order?
Every absorbent boom, sock, pillow and spill kit sorbent is made from 100% recovered polypropylene by dry weight, checked by lot for fill weight and absorbency. There's no minimum order on standard SKUs, from a single case to a full truckload, with reserved surge capacity so incident orders can ship within 24 hours. Custom boom lengths are also available, priced per linear foot, along with bilingual EN/FR labels and SDS documentation.
